Rep. Dave Min Demands Investigation Into Tom Homan’s $50,000 Cash Payment

Rep. Dave Min

Rep. Min: “History suggests that we should follow the money—especially if it went unreported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).”

Washington, D.C. —  Following reports that President Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan was caught on video by undercover FBI agents accepting $50,000 in exchange for political favors, Representative Dave Min (CA-47), a member of the House Oversight Committee and Chair of the CPC’s Fighting Corruption Taskforce, sent a letter to Treasury Inspector General Russell George and Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration Russel Martin calling for an investigation into the $50,000 payment.

All income, legal or illegal, must be reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Rep. Min is requesting that the Treasury Department’s Office of Inspector General investigate the circumstances surrounding the payment, including whether Mr. Homan reported the payment and whether the payment was connected to Mr. Homan’s private consulting firm.

“History suggests that we should follow the money—especially if it went unreported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Under federal law, all income, legal or illegal, must be reported to the IRS, including payments stemming from bribery. Knowingly failing to report this income would likely violate federal tax law,” wrote Rep. Min. “Accordingly, I request that your offices investigate whether Mr. Homan properly reported this payment on his 2024 federal tax return.”

  1. What happened to his investigation of kluwe’s firing by Edison high? Does DUI Dave the yellow bellied douchebag look like a jibber jab meets South Park character? One big bag of hot air.

    • Well, he would have discovered, like I did, that Kluwe was an at-will employee not entitled to protections of certified school employees. As Dave is Asian and you’re calling him yellow-bellied, I’d like to suggest your racist against Asians, and it’s not the first time you’ve said something like this
