50th Anniversary of Nixon’s Resignation

August 8, 1974, President Richard M. Nixon resigned the office of President rather than face certain impeachment and conviction in Congress.

His letter of resignation was submitted August 9, 1974 and he flew to the El Toro Marine Airbase in Irvíne with a motorcade to his home in San Clemente.

You must wonder how he would have regarded the actions of Donald Trump.
