| Supervisor Katrina Foley’s re-election campaign has sent an email inviting folks to two June fundraisers; a luncheon June 7 and her Birthday Party June 26. The email message is below and if you’re inclined, by all means attend.
But know this is for a 2026 election — more than two and a half years out. I understand her desire to build a warchest, but we have a critical election in 5 months.
Do you know who needs your money for their campaigns? Dave Min, Derek Tran, Joe Kerr, Mike Levin, and Lou Correra. With due respect to Foley, these races are much too important and its where Democratic Party donors should focus their attentions on now. Write checks to these candidates if you can. You can write Foley a check in 2026 and still have a Christmas to celebrate before primary day 2026.

| I’ve spent the past four days meeting with federal officials to advocate for legislative amendments to allow us to move spent nuclear fuel off our coast, and for funding for our regional housing, rail corridor, and coastal preservation needs. While I’m giving full attention to my official work, our campaign team is preparing for reelection with two exciting June events, so that we can continue working for you and delivering results for an additional four years! |

I will note that Supervisor Foley has yet to endorse Dave Min for Congress in CA47 nor has she given any $ to his campaign So much for wanting to beat Scott Baugh in November It seems Supervisor Foley does not care who is elected to CA47 So donate to her campaign accordingly

Ms Foley has a gun control regulation on the O C Board of Supervisors 5.21.24 agenda. However, it will be delayed until the next meeting in June. Maybe she is hoping the college riots will simmer down before deciding mostly peaceful citizens don’t need protection.
