ICYMI: Michelle Steel Caught Lying About Support for Life At Conception Act

Washington D.C. – In case you missed it, Michelle Steel was caught lying after it was revealed she co-sponsored legislation that would’ve imposed national restrictions on IVF and other fertility treatments.

In a statement on X, Steel lied about her stance on IVF, claiming that she “do[es] not support federal restrictions on IVF.” However, a quick look at her record shows the exact opposite as an original co-sponsor of the Life at Conception Act that, if passed, would restrict IVF and other fertility treatments on the federal level.

“Michelle Steel is using the suffering of women and families to score political points while co-sponsoring legislation to endanger IVF and fertility treatments,” HMP Press Secretary Alisha Heng said. “Make no mistake, Steel has already made it clear that she will stop at nothing to restrict American freedoms.”
