Former Mission Viejo City Council Member and failed Congressional candidate Greg Raths has left the OC and made his way to Metro Dallas, Texas and has “retired.”
Sources were suggesting that Raths would make a move to former Speaker Kavin Mccarthy’s district to run for Congress, because Republicans loved them some carpetbaggers. But a check of his social media profiles shows Raths has moved to Texas where The Handmaid’s Tale is public policy.
TheLiberalOC reached out to Raths and he has confirmed he’s retired and living in Texas. Raths follows former State Rep. Chuck DeVore who left Irvine for Texas long ago.
Raths is complicit in the mess left behid in Mission Viejo and was known to physically troll public speakers at city council meetings and Katie Porter rallies when he lost to her for Congress in 2,000.
