ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Reflecting his commitment to equality and widespread support from the LGBTQ+ community in his re-election campaign for District 37, State Senator Josh Newman today announced a powerful endorsement from Equality California (EQCA), the state’s largest and most influential LGBTQ+ rights organization.
In a statement released with the announced endorsement, Equality California Executive Director Tony Hoang remarked: “In the State Senate, Josh Newman has been a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, embracing and protecting LGBTQ+ students, fighting against discrimination, and advancing civil rights for all.
