We are thrilled to announce we will be hosting a Reception and Presidential Townhall with United States Senator and Republican Presidential candidate Tim Scott on Monday, July 31st. Senator Tim Scott has served the people of South Carolina as their U.S. Senator since 2013. Throughout Tim’s life, he’s experienced moments and mentors that define who he is today and taught him how to turn obstacles into opportunities. His grandfather dropped out of third grade to pick cotton. He helped raise Tim and his brother and taught them the importance of a good education. To go from Cotton to Congress in one lifetime is a journey that can only happen in America. With one of the most conservative voting records in Congress, Tim also plays a critical role in protecting the unborn, Second Amendment rights, and advancing opportunity and education for families. In partnership with the California Women’s Leadership Association, this reception and presidential townhall will bring a thoughtful discussion and can’t-miss opportunity to meet a rising star of our party. We will also welcome special guest, former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. The road to the White House runs through Orange County.
