Will Trump ally John Eastman lose his California Law License?

WASHINGTON, USA - JANUARY 06: Rudy Giuliani, personal lawyer to U.S. President Donald Trump, speaks during a "Save America Rally" near the White House in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. The House and Senate will meet in a joint session today to count the Electoral College votes to confirm President-elect Joe Biden's victory, but not before a sizable group of Republican lawmakers object to the counting of several states' electors. The former Chapman University Law School Dean, and one of ex-President Donald Trump’s biggest supporters for the January 6th, 2021 insurrection stands trial Tuesday morning in Los Angeles where the fate of his California Law License may be decided.

One of the tasks of the State Bar is to protect the public from bad or incompetent lawyers (let me know when they get to Greg Diamond).  I don’t see how the State Bar can continue letting Eastman’s law license remain active.  You have to wonder if Eastman will be criminally charged by special counsel Jack Smith when the January 6 indictments are filed.

Hope the form I was sent is readable; Eastman is in court Tuesday June 20 at 10 AM in LA.  There is a way for the public to dial in to check out the proceedings.

But for our right wing Trumper-readers, Eastman needs your money!  He’s speaking at a fundraiser in early July sponsored by the West Orange County Republican Women Federated.  So will Rep. Michelle Steel be there?  How about Rep. Young Kim?  If they attend, please ask if they think the 2020 election was stolen.

  1. With the boycott of Target and Bud Light, my budget gets fatter every day. So thanks for the Eastman fundraising link. Maybe I can return the favor by posting Melahat Rafiei’s sentencing date. How about a bet she gets off with probation and community service?
