“Garden Grove is my home, and I’m running for Mayor because I want to improve and protect the things that make our city such a special place to live. As Mayor, I will continue working with law enforcement and community leaders to improve public safety, and I’ll work to reduce homelessness by focusing on mental health and housing. I’ll also help local businesses create jobs and ensure our city innovates in delivering high-quality public services. My experiences – as a former Mayor Pro Tem, Councilmember, cancer scientist, community leader, and mom – have prepared me for this important role. I am excited to begin my campaign and look forward to many conversations with Garden Grove residents about how best to bring positive changes to our city.”

  1. Looks like she’s in it to nguyen it !? Can she help #dumpjamesmai ???
My name is Rose and we are trying to kick #OCbigot #jamesmai off the #OChousingauthority commission. Just like in Irvine !
We would love if you would show up on Thursday, March 23rd, meeting starts at 10am. We will stick with comments about the #irvinehatemonger that we can actually prove. We are in need of public speakers because they are not allowing remote participation.
On a really strange note: Mai’s term EXPIRED last year on 12/31/22. This alone should qualify for his immediate removal as he was not reappointed ! Ya think?
If you cant make it to the Housing Authority, please join us on Thursday, 3/23 at 10 am at 601 North Ross Street, Suite 103. Arrive a few minutes early if possible. If you need reimbursement for gas/bus/fare parking etc text 909-500-9345 (Christine D).
If you are unable to attend, you have to email comments prior to noon on Wednesday (tomorrow). This is actually totally illegal, but it would be interesting if someone emailed comments after the ridiculous deadline and it was rejected. The email is ochcdcommission@occr.ocgov.com

If you cannot attend on Thurday, please join us on Tuesday the 28th of this month at 10 am for the Board of Supervisors and demand they either re-appoint Mai or immediately remove him, give his term is expired. Again, we can reimburse you for actual expenses after you have spoken. Address is 400 W Civic Ctr Drive. If you are unable to attend you can email comments to response@ocgov.com prior to 9 am the day of the meeting.

The demand to reappoint him is in your face sarcasm to the Supervisors, who should not have let his term go on this long in the first place.
