Hot off the press from the OC GOP is news that Flori-DUH governor Ron DeSantis is coming to Orange County to stump for Republicans and raise some cash. Florida’s racist, homophobic, transphobic, book-banning governor is paving the way for a 2024 presidential run. DeSantis’ “Freedom Blueprint” is anything but freedom. He’s blocking AP classes on African-American studies, promotes indoctrination of conservative values, human-trafficked immigrants seeking asylum to Martha’s Vineyard, botched hurricane response last fall, and doesn’t want you to know Florida gets more federal tax money than they pay out.
Given DeSantis’ problem with drag queen story hours in Florida, I had a comic book artist friend develop this rendering of the Governor as “Rhondee Santis.”
