What We’re Voting For November 8

It’s hard to believe that two years ago, there was a massive turnout of voters that elected Joe Biden yet failed to expand a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives.

Here’s a list of reasons to vote Blue November 8.

• Our Democracy is on the line; there’s a record number of 2020 election deniers on the ballot that would have to power to overturn an election result they don’t like.
• Republicans bill themselves as the party of freedom when the lead in gerrymandering, voter suppression laws, outright voter intimidation at mailing centers, banned books, forbid the teaching of actual American history, allow gunowners to have more rights to carry weapons of war without restriction while denying a woman autonomy over her own body.  Freedom for thee, but not for me.
• Inflation and crime are issues Republicans “lead” on? They have voted against every bill presented in Congress to provide the American people relief on either issue.
• On the economy, inflation and gas prices are high all over the world, not just in America.  It’s corporate greed, not Biden’s policies.
• Every single month in office, Joe Biden’s work has produced more jobs in 30 days than Donald Trump did in 48 months.
• With the Paul Pelosi attack, its clear that Republicans remain the party of school yard bullies and delight in misinformation.
• January 6.
• Trump billed the federal government more than $151 million to golf on properties he owns over four years and, after stating the Secret Service stay for free at Trump property hotels, we find that agents were charged up to $1100 a night; it’s a grift and will be again if Trump runs and wins.
• Social security and Medicare limitations are on the ballot; a higher retirement age?  Restrictions of medicare.  If you’re 90, you get neither?
• Roevember (I know I mentioned this once already).
• If Republicans take control of the Senate, Biden won’t get another Supreme Court pick.
• If Republicans win, more school shootings with thoughts and prayers instead of assault weapons restrictions.
• Vote like your life depends upon it, because it does.
