Be grateful.
Be grateful for your family, friends, parents, children, siblings, co-workers. Be grateful for optimism in this great country and for every effort we make to move forward. Be grateful for the little things that make life good. And everyone has challenges in this life. They shape our character. They make us think critically and work to find resolution. Our challenges reveal our allies and their love of us. We write our own story every day.

Thanks Dan! I was researching liberal Catholic Churches nearby and came across your search for one quite some time ago. I am very familiar with the Paulist and used to work for the Paulist priests at the Catholic Information Center in Grand Rapids many years ago. We are new to SoCal and curious if you’ve found a progressive Catholic community?
Nothing close to the Paulist Fathers in downtown Boston. I’d ask about Laguna Beach parishes.
