Anaheim Councilmember Brandman Has Resigned

Anaheim 2nd District Councilmember Jordan Brandman has resigned his seat effective August 5, 2021. The City Council webpage for the 2nd District states:

Vacant

The District 2 seat is currently vacant, pending the appointment of a new council member by the Anaheim City Council.

The seat was previously held by Council Member Jordan Brandman, who resigned on Aug. 5, 2021.

(Denise) Barnes confronted Brandman during public comment at the July 20 City Council meeting.

“I want you seven to really pay attention. Last week, I asked you to please come back to make some sort of action on what has been described as some of the most vile words spoken by a politician in Anaheim,” she said. “Selfish c***. My god, it should make you shiver.” 

The Democratic Party of Orange County was slated to vote on a resolution next Monday, urging Brandman to resign from the council because of the text message controversy. 

The resolution “condemns recent acts of misogynistic bullying evidenced by text communications made by Councilmember Jordan Brandman, and deems him unfit to continue serving in an elected capacity, and calls for his immediate resignation”

Anaheim council members have 60 days to appoint someone to fill the vacancy, or it’s a special election by default, according to the city charter.

    What happened is Jordan lost the entire DPOC. Including his oldest and best friends.

  5. So when will Donna Nelson stop lying about Anaheim Police murdering her son? He was not handcuffed and then shot in the back of the head. He did have meth in his system and his DNA was on a gun used to shoot at Anaheim cops. Does anyone tell the truth in that apartment?

      Well then, you must believe that Kelly Thomas was fighting back and hurting the Fullerton cops like a superman on angel dust … until the film showed up. And that Hector Hernandez was brandishing a knife when he came out of his house … until the film showed up. And that George Floyd suffered a mysterious “medical condition” that led to his death… until the film showed up.

      Unfortunately there was no film of what the Anaheim cops did to Joey. They messed with the scene for a good hour and shone their lights into the eyes of all the Guinida residents who tried to watch or film.

      One detail that makes me believe Donna and all the witnesses I’ve talked to is that for the first hour or two the police reported that they’d found a gun in the glove compartment of the vehicle Joey’d been in … then suddenly the story changed, there was no gun in the vehicle, it was in his hands and he was shooting at Kelly Philips, and look! There it is between his feet!

      Whether that gun really WAS in the vehicle, or whether it was a police “throwaway gun” (a term you piece of shit would never have heard), it’s clear they planted it on him, and fired it themselves.

      Now go fuck yourself.

They beat up the homeless, and run if they are in danger. They lie, more than any other profession The police are Bullys that lie and just ask any fireman if they respect cops. Only in movies cops act heroic, but they aren’t. I just had to learn my rights, and now I apprach them camera on. “What are you doing just sitting there, hiding so you could give a ticket.” At a gas station, I tell him that he is not on public property, and that the owner wants you to leave or he’s going to charge you with loitering.
