FULLERTON, CA— Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva today announced receiving the endorsement of CAL FIRE 2881, the voice for the largest group of brave men and women who fight fires on behalf of all Californians.

“As climate change ramps up the danger of catastrophic fires in California, we must be smarter, more vigilant, and better prepared to handle the challenges ahead,” said Asm. Quirk-Silva. “I am proud to stand with the people who do that work everyday, and honored to have their support.”

Quirk-Silva spent over 20 years teaching in the Fullerton School District prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2016 and re-elected in 2018. She is the former Mayor of Fullerton and served in the Assembly from 2012-2014.

The 65th Assembly District includes Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Palma, Stanton and most of West Anaheim.
