Ashleigh Aitken (c) 2017, TheLiberalOC

Sources tell TheLiberalOC that former Anaheim Mayoral candidate Ashleigh Aitken will launch a campaign for third district OC Board of Supervisors challenging incumbent Don Wagner.

Aitken narrowly lost to Harry Sidhu for Anaheim Mayor in 2018 in her first bid for office. There aren’t any other details to share at this time.  Others rumored for the post were AD-68 candidate Eugene Fields, Irvine’s Beth Krom and Sukhee Kang, and Villa Park’s Andy Thornburn who is running for OCBE.

Haha. Yes, Fullerton is just sooooooo darn remote!

Not coincidentally, he sold his downsized Fullerton house and scampered back to Irvine just a few months after losing his big slam dunk election to Josh Newman. Hopefully his new digs are smaller than the old ones – so much upkeep.

        He should run again.
