Vern Nelson is the editor of the Orange juice blog and he’s has documented periods of time to dry out for alcohol abuse, so he posted something about me this week that is not accurate (booze talking; I don’t know).
In 2016, as a DPOC and CDP member, I cast my endorsement vote for Brian Forde, a fellow techie and because Beth Krom asked me too do so and I have a hard time saying no to Mrs. Krom. This was for Congress in CA45. But I also gave an equal political contribution to Dave Min and Katie Porter before the Primary and made another contribution to Porter prior to the November election. I’ll also point out I contributed to Congressman Lou Correa’s re-election campaign and have made additional contributions to him, Porter, and to Congressman Harley Rouda this year.
Vern reported I supported a different candidate in 2016 than Porter. It’s the booze talking. He’s not accurate and when he calls people in OC running for office, it’s what he thinks, not what the facts offer,
I was lucky to have three great candidates to choose from in 2016; once Porter won the primary, I supported her. When I was on Capitol Hill in April, I saw Porter, Lou Correa, Harley Rouda and Mike Levin. Great to see OC so well represented in DC. But my vote at DPOC and CDP was for Forde. My money went to Porter. Vern can’t afford a financial contribution of any sort. He’s fortunate to have a roof over his head courtesy of his wife.
I’d ask Nelson to correct the record, but I have no desire to interact with a blogger who doesn’t report accurate facts that are easy for anyone to research.
And I made contributions to these candidates. He did not. So there. I’d call him, but why bother?
Don’t expect Vern to reply. He and Diamond are too busy shilling for the conspiracy freaks at FFFF.
It’s actually not hard to fact check certain things, and Vern just isn’t interested. And Min isn’t an establishment Democrat, but nice try. I was fortunate to spend time with Min, Porter and Ford before the primary. We had great candidates to choose from and Katie is doing a great job in Congress. Loved her Batgirl costume for the impeachment vote.
Yeah, conspiracies like the one that the city is out to get them. The city should sue FFFF.
The Fullerton Observer, FFFF’s archenemy, asked an IT security expert for his take on the security breach the City alleged the FFFF exploited. It’s an interesting read.
That Observer is very useful. You will never understand Fullerton unless you read its articles.
Hey Vern, you are clearly having some issues. Lets try this again:
1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
So two of Greg’s three supporters on his “don’t remove me or I’ll sue you” piece are sex fiend and creep Julio Perez and his homophobe right wing co-blogger.
These guys (OJB) are a stone in the shoe of normal mankind.
Is this on Facebook or something? I blocked him years ago to not see his nonsense. Greg lost it in front the committee telling me to shut up. Think it cost him because he looked really unhinged. Hope he doesn’t explode on his family like that
