I was in Atlanta for a trade show on 9/11/2001. It was a time the nation came together. We did catch Osama Bin Laden and he paid the price for his terrorism. And we also engaged in unnecessary war in Iraq when they never attacked the US.
Today is a day to think of the victims of 9/11, their friends and families who survived, and the First Responders who suffer ill health from their efforts on that day and their families.
I listened to President Trump’s speech this morning. He spoke of rushing to Ground Zero to help. That is a lie and an offensive one to tell on 9/11. Trump also claimed to have contributed to charities for 9/11 victims and families. He never gave a dime.
