Sherri Loveland is running for Tustin City Council and by every means, she’s an exceptional candidate. But her decision to run was well after the filing deadlines and prompted by commentary from the usual crowd of conservatives who control the Tustin City Council. So she’s running as a write-in candidate. It’s a difficult but not impossible task for her to win on election day.
The chatter in Tustin is “how do you write someone in?” It’s easier than you think. Loveland participated in a voting lesson at Beckman High School in Irvine this week where students — some of whom are new voters — learned about how to vote and how to write in a candidate. The video is here.
There’s a meet and greet for Sherri this Sunday, October 28 at the home of Mayor Pro Tem Beckie Gomez and John McKeon.from 2-4 PM. Download the flyer here.
