Dave Min (CA-45) Takes Majority in Third Straw Poll

MISSION VIEJO, CA – At a candidate forum for CA-45 Democratic Congressional Candidates held Tuesday night, Dave Min won a straw poll of 4 candidates, taking 62.8%% of the vote, more than 34% ahead of the second place finisher. The forum was hosted by the Canyon Democrats club, who estimated that there were more than 400 people in attendance.

“I’m so grateful and honored to have earned the support of so many people from across our community Tuesday night,” said Dave Min. “Our campaign’s approach of emphasizing the issues that matter to local Orange County working families, like climate change, our broken health care system, or the high costs of college, is resonating with the voters of our district. We’re proud of our broad coalition of supporters of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and political leanings.”

“Dave has now dominated all three straw polls taken in this race, winning over 50% each time,” added Dave’s campaign manager, Paige Hutchinson. “At this point, it’s clear that Dave is the consensus choice of the local community. We look forward to continuing our momentum through the primary with Dave’s unifying message and unparalleled ground game.”

The results of this straw poll continue the trend of past straw polls held in May and November, where Min took 51% and 52% of the vote.
