FULLERTON, CA—65th Assembly District Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva today announced receiving the endorsement of Stanton Mayor Carol Warren for her 2018 re-election campaign.
“We are fortunate to have Sharon represent the City of Stanton in Sacramento,” said Mayor Warren. “She is involved in our community, understands our issues and delivers results that improve the quality of life for our residents and businesses.”
Quirk-Silva spent over 20 years teaching in the Fullerton School District prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2016. She is the former Mayor of Fullerton and served in the Assembly from 2012-2014.
The 65th Assembly District includes Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Palma, Stanton and most of West Anaheim.
LOL. How would Carol Warren know if she wants to endorse Quirk-Silva since Quirk-Silva hasn’t had a chance to vote for more taxes in the upcoming 2018 legislative year yet. Carol Warren is one of the biggest tax-raisers in the North Orange County area and a council member of one of the poorest-run cities (Stanton) so this endorsement can only hurt Quirk-Silva’s campaign.

ALEXANDRIA CORONADO CALLS ON QUIRK-SILVA TO RETURN MONEY DONATED BY ALLEGED (D) SEXUAL PREDATOR
Today, Dr. Alexandria Coronado called on Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) to return more than $16,000 in contributions made to Quirk-Silva’s campaigns by alleged sexual predator Assemblyman Matt Dababneh (D-Woodland Hills).
“Based on the allegations made against Assemblyman Dababneh by two young women, Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva should immediately denounce the Assemblyman and return the money she has accepted from him,” said Coronado. “I believe the women who have come forward in this case. If the Assemblywoman does too, Quirk-Silva should return all the money Dababneh has contributed towards her political career.”
