Irvine, CA – Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva (Fullerton) announced her public support for Democrat Dave Min’s campaign for the 45th Congressional District.
“I know what it takes for a Democrat to unseat a Republican in Orange County, and I’m proud to endorse Dave Min in the 45th District because he has what it takes and shares my commitment to working families, educators and the future of our children. Dave is a thoughtful, hardworking, and principled leader who has already proven his commitment to listening and fighting for Orange County residents, no matter who they are. As someone who spent 31 years teaching in the classroom, I appreciate Dave’s work as an educator and his focus on building a brighter future for our children. I’m with Dave because he can win and he will stand up for us all in Washington.”
Dave Min said he is humbled to have earned the endorsement of Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva, a long-respected educator and leader in Orange County. “Ms. Quirk-Silva is a pillar in Orange County due to her incredible public service of teaching and serving in the California state Assembly. I share her commitment to helping working families and the children of Orange County and will work tirelessly to be an advocate for them.”
In addition to Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva, Min also announced the endorsements of these other community leaders:
Mike Eng, Former Assemblyman and Mayor of Monterey Park
David Lau, Former Mayor of Monterey Park
Andrew Rodriguez, Walnut City Councilmember
“Dave’s campaign is about bringing Californians together to build consensus and find workable solutions to local issues,” said Paige Hutchinson, Min’s campaign manager. “As he’s said from the beginning, he’s running a local grassroots campaign. The fact that he is receiving so many endorsements from local elected officials– and that he’s the the only Democratic candidate in his race with any local endorsements– is a clear sign he is the best candidate for the district.”
