Hot off the press; a candidate emerges for Tustin City Council.
Tustin, CA – Longtime resident and government affairs professional Letitia Clark announced her campaign for Tustin City Council today. The election, which will feature at least one incumbent who is not seeking re-election due to term limits, will be held on November 8, 2016.
In declaring her candidacy, Clark released the following statement:
I am running for a seat on the Tustin City Council because I want to make a positive contribution, through my time, effort, and energy, to the city that has made a positive impact on my life. I want to preserve the distinct elements of Tustin that have drawn families and businesses to the city for decades, such as the high-ranking school system, low crime rate, friendly business climate, and small town appeal. My goal is to advance the quality of life of every Tustin resident by bringing forward innovative strategies that aim to improve the delivery of city services, keep our neighborhoods safe, and build stronger partnerships with our local schools. I feel fortunate to call this city my home, and I am excited to officially launch my campaign for City Council. The campaign will host a kick-off event on Thursday, February 18, which will be open to the public.
