    • Hate to break it to you but Lou’s base is NOT all the South County DPOC Central Committee hippies who are way more liberal than their own neighbors. They are the people who actually live and vote in the 46th CD.

      • I hate to tell you this but younger Latinos are even more liberal than whites. The older generation of Latinos are the social conservatives but their kids not from an immigrate background if they are Democratic these days are pretty left wing. In fact in 10 years the most liberal Dems in Orange County will probably be either Latino or Asian since the young white Dems are decline Lou and Loretta will be dated for Dems in 10 years.

  1. Hate to break it to you guys but the district is not in South Orange County. Not sure if you realized that or not.

      • If you are using this “Poll” as your measuring stick you are being duped. This ridiculous poll with these kinds of numbers is simply a joke. It is so obviously out of bounds it cannot be given any credibility. This can be measured against the only ones cheering it on are your usual Republican cheer leaders.

        • Henry, how should we judge the claim from the Dunn campaign that pledges for $120K were received from 10/1/2015 and 10/15/2015 without reporting who donated? The Dunn campaign is claiming a huge fundraising advantage. How much credibility should Dunn’s campaign be given on that news?

          • so your’e in the practice of channeling Art Pedroza now? i suppose we will see when the next reports come out now wont we?

          • Remind me if you can recall, the report deadlines coming next will be the first week of January am I correct? So we will see what is what. And who is who by then eh?

            • As I recall, without looking it up, reports are due by January 15 and reported out by January 31.

So yes, we’ll know if Joe Dunn was lying about his fundraising — which would be pretty astounding as it would damage his campaign well ahead of the voting.

And we’ll also be able to see whether Lou’s fundraising sucked before, and picked up after, his report on this flawed and somewhat desperate looking poll. (Or whether it picked up at all.)

Our host will never mention it again if it turns out that Joe was right and Lou was desperate, but the venomous detritus left beyond in the collective memory that “Dunn did SOMETHING bad but can’t remember wut” will remain — which is the point of the exercise.

              • Dunn’s numbers (and the numbers of other CD-46 candidates) will be duly reported here if Joe was in fact right. I’ll remind Mr. Diamond that while fundraising is certainly important, it isn’t the only requirement for winning. John Duong far outraised Beth Krom in her first race for Irvine mayor and had the support of the OC Register. The vast majority of Beth’s contributions were from Irvine residents and she thumped him in the election. It wasn’t close.

  2. “after facing attacks from latinos and fellow democrats”; Fact check says BS. Jordan is NOT a Democrat. So he wasn’t attacked by his peers at all. And he was coddled by his fellow DINOs. Like you.

      • Guess what? we can do without DINOs like that. So we wont allow him or his handlers pull any shenanigans against our principals while flying our flag. I suggest he, and yourself make your way over to the GOP tent. You are both in the wrong place.
