Sharon Quirk-Silva gains support from Anaheim School Leaders

 FULLERTON, CA—Classroom teacher and 65th Assembly District candidate Sharon Quirk-Silva today announced endorsements from five Anaheim school trustees.

Anaheim City School Trustees David Robert (D.R.) Heywood, Ryan Ruelas, and Dr. José Moreno (ret.), and Anaheim Union High School District Trustees Al Jabbar and Anne Marie Randle-Trejo have all signed on to Quirk-Silva’s bid to return to the Assembly.

“I appreciate the confidence these education leaders have in me to shake Sacramento up and improve our schools,” said Quirk-Silva. “They share my sense of urgency for giving our schools the tools they need to ensure every child receives a 21st Century education.”

Quirk-Silva currently teaches 3rd grade and has spent 30 years teaching in the Fullerton School District. She is the former Mayor of Fullerton and served in the Assembly from 2012-2014.

The 65th Assembly District includes Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Palma, Stanton and most of West Anaheim.
