Four of the five CD-46 Candidates for Congress have agreed to debate on Saturday October 17 from 11 AM to 1PM at the OC LULAC Foundation Center in Garden Grove.  Former State Senators Lou Correa and Joe Dunn have confirmed as has Anaheim council member Jordan Brandman and Garden Grove Mayor Bao Nguyen will have someone of a home court advantage even though he doesn’t live in the District.  The only Republican in the race, Irvine Council member Lynn Schott was pictured in the flyer and we’re uncertain if she’s attending.

The debate is co-hosted by OC LULAC Foundation and OC NAACP and admission is free.  The address for the debate is 11277 Garden Grove Blvd #101-A in Garden Grove.

While there will be moderators, questions will be solicited from members of the audience.

Since we’re talking about OC LULAC and the OC NAACP, this reminder that the Historical Awards banquet will being held on October 30.  Tickets may be purchased at www.oclulacfoundation.org and www.oc-naacp.org.
