Hillary Clinton will announce her bid for President Sunday

The Washington Post is reporting that former Secretary of State and former US Senator Hillary Clinton will announce her bid for the Democratic Party’s nomination as President on Sunday.  The news has been anticipated for quite some time, but Clinton will make it official on Sunday.

From the Post:

The announcement via social media and a video is planned for Sunday, two of those people said, and Clinton is then expected to travel to the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa early next week for campaign events. Democratic strategists and advisers spoke on condition of anonymity because Clinton has not yet finalized all aspects of her announcement plan.

Clinton is expected to hold mostly small discussion events with voters, foregoing the large rallies and extended announcement speeches of some of her Republican rivals.

Her Sunday announcement would come one day before the expected announcement Monday of Republican Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida), who is planning to give a speech that afternoon at Miami’s iconic Freedom Tower.

Clinton has been building a campaign-in-waiting for months, and she has been the Democratic front-runner all along. A Clinton spokesman declined comment on her plans Friday.

    • The Clinton’s have been good friends to your Santa Ana, have they not?

Certainly more than either of the Bush’s.

The logic is puzzling. Community first or the politics of my Dad’s generation first?

  1. The horror of another Bush Presidency!
Hillary might have the nomination locked up before California’s June 2016 presidential primary.
Can Democrats bare to re-register Republican and vote for the Republican that’s a close second to Jeb Bush (if that’s how it turns out)?
California is part of “Supper Tuesday”. There might be Jeb Bush and 2 to 3 other Republicans that have a shot at winning the nomination.
Will Democrats ask their Tea Party neighbor for his/her non-Bush yard sign? Buy the yard sign?
