Judge gives Anaheim time to find solution to council districts question

Yesterday Orange County Superior Court Judge Franz Miller delayed the start of the trial over a voting rights lawsuit seeking district elections for city council members. Judge Miller agreed with the city that the committee debating the issue should be allowed to complete its work before he makes his ruling.

The Voice of OC story of retired Santa Ana Police Department executive Inspector Hank Couisine receiving a payout of more than a year’s worth of vacation, sick, holiday, and comp-time pay upon his retirement caught my eye this morning. My first reaction was; “I know the guy!”
