I love this Senator. The nightmare of lazy government regulators is being called before the Senate Banking Committee to be questioned by Senator Elizabeth Warren who knows, as much or, more than they do.
From Huffington Post: Sen. Elizabeth Warren unloaded on bank regulators Thursday about the fact that British bank HSBC is still doing business in the U.S., with no criminal charges filed against it, despite confessing to what one regulator called “egregious” money laundering violations.
“They did it over and over and over again across a period of years. And they were caught doing it, warned not to do it and kept right on doing it, and evidently making profits doing it,” Warren said of HSBC. “How many billions of dollars do you have to launder for drug lords and how many economic sanctions do you have to violate before someone will consider shutting down a financial institution like this?”
Watch the senior Senator from Massachusetts make these guys squirm.
Senator Elizabeth Warren is all talk with no action. She’s all hat with no cattle.
She knows that the banks are too big to fail, – too big to jail, – and too big to regulate.
She’s afraid to introduce a U.S. Senate resolution to re-instate the Glass-Steagall Act 1933-1999. There is a House resolution http://thomas.loc.gov (enter HR 129), but no Senate resolution.

It was just Senate campaign talk.
“Elizabeth Warren Suggests Breaking Up The Banks By Reinstating Glass-Steagall”

“Breaking up the big banks is a Wall Street reform that Elizabeth Warren may work to implement if she’s elected to the U.S. Senate Tuesday.”

The Senator apparently had a conversation with Barack Hussein Obama:
‘Aint gona be no Glass-Steagall in my house.’
One more liberal strayed off the reservation.
I like Warren. Basically they should just legalize marijuana and take about 60% of the revenue stream away from the drug cartels and allow that transfer of wealth to stay within the united states as small business operations. Mom and pop pot shops. Jobs, less crimes more revenues more sales taxes fewer vacant storefronts etc etc etc. Plus, since a great amount of the marijuana brought into the country is brought on the backs of mules (humans)there will also be a major impact on illegal immigration and result in a drastic reduction of resources spent by the CBP, and ICE and make their operations more efficient.
Senator Elizabeth Warren knows:
Banks are too big to prosecute.
