GOP Presidential nominee and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was in Costa Mesa last night. Across the street from Mitt’s fundraiser, the OC GOP Central Committee had gathered at a nearby hotel. According to sources, several members of the Central Committee were hoping their Party’s candidate for the Oval Office would drop by for an inpromptu “Hi, How are ya?” moment and fire up the base.
Mitt was a no-show.
While Romney’s campaign needs that Orange County ATM to raise conservative cash, he missed an opportunity to rally the troops on his behalf. We’re told a number of members were less than pleased over the snub. Others were just pissed off.
