Obama Campaign Releases New TV Ad: The Choice

CHICAGO — Obama for America released a new television advertisement Monday titled “The Choice.” The American people will decide over the next four month between two fundamentally different plans for our country, and OFA’s new ad features President Obama laying out the choice of how to grow the economy, create middle-class jobs and pay down the debt. The President’s plan ensures everyone pays their fair share and still invests in the things we need to create jobs and grow our economy over the long term, like education, energy, and infrastructure.

“The Choice” will air in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

The campaign also released a new online video today featuring Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter that debunks Mitt Romney’s distortions of the President’s recent comments regarding small business owners, and also highlights the clear differences between Mitt Romney and President Obama’s small business record. Americans have a choice in this election between two fundamentally different visions of how to grow the economy, create middle-class jobs and pay down the debt. President Obama believes individuals build their businesses through hard work and initiative, with the public and private sectors working together to create a climate that helps them grow. He believes the only way to create an economy built to last is to build it from the middle out, not the top down.

  1. The choice is clear it’s the Obama- Romney team vs. LaRouche

    The LaRouche plan

Nothing short of the integrated three-tiered approach of Glass-Steagall, National Banking and NAWAPA XXI, as an inseparable whole, will save the nation. So we simply must do it!

  2. Who gets to determine what is a fair share?

According to the National Taxpayers Union here is the breakdown for 2009 as to who pays what:

Percentage of Federal Personal Income Tax Paid
Percentiles Threshold % of tax paid
    Top 1% $343,927 36.73
    Top 5% $154,643 58.66
    Top 10% $112,124 70.47
    Top 25% $66,193 87.30
    Top 50% $32,396 97.75
    Bottom 50% <$32,396 2.25

We have a spending problem and nobody wants to address it. The problem is spending across the board and it is not just Democrats but Republicans too.

If you cut the spending to solve the deficit we will have huge surpluses to pay down our debt when the economy grows again.

As for growing the economy, don't let either party try to stimulate the economy. The only one getting stimulated are their rich contributors.

We don't need more regulation because they wont enforce the current laws. Insider trading congress, wall street executives gambling with shareholders money. We have laws that could be used but for some reason we don't. Organized Crime is more law abiding than our leaders. Organized Crime is better at dealing with those that violate their rules as well.

So who is the better choice? I say Romney is less bad but lets face it, once again we get to vote lose/lose. In a perfect world one day we might actually get a real leader. Too bad we are not perfect.

  3. Barack Obama dominated on Facebook through out the year which really helped him in his political career; he also had hired Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes in early 2007 for his assistance on social media. Obama uses the age of technology in a right way as he started working on very early on it. Internet, the boom of social networking helped him too. In this regard he uses Facebook that provide him a great platform to carry on his campaigns. Facebook is the most crowded place on Internet today and an easy way to convey messages to millions in no time.
