Whatever you do today, don’t let the projections of record low voter turnout discourage you from voting. The top-two primary election is extremely important. The decisions made today by less than 30% of registered voters will decide your choices in November for legislative elections.
Those of you living in the more competitive legislative districts, like Assembly 69,72, and 74, have probably had your mail boxes stuffed over the past several weeks with mail from opposing candidate campaigns and their supporters telling you how great, or horrible, they and their opponents are. With election day here, the first half or our election cycle is over. Now you have to decide.
We’re not going to tell you how to vote today. We will share some resources to help you make your decisions on your own.
First, you can Google the names of the candidates on your ballot to find their campaign websites.
Second, you can check out one of the links below for the endorsements of Democratic and progressive groups.
Then we’ve got the endorsements from the Orange County Labor Federation
Where to Vote?
The California Democratic Party has a helpful tool on their website to help you find your polling location here.
The Orange County Registrar of Voters has a polling place locator here as well.
Need Help?
For Election Day assistance from the Orange County Registrar of Voters click here. Their phone number is 714-567-7600.
If you haven’t yet mailed your Vote-By-Mail Ballot it is too late to send it by mail. You can drop it off at the Registrar of Voters or at any polling location in Orange County.
When to Vote?
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Results?
For Election Night Results click here after the polls close.
With the exceptionally low expected turnout, your one vote can make the difference. In 2007, a special election to replace former County Supervisor Lou Correa was decided by a three vote margin. That election had a voter turnout of 22.4%.

Who do YOU think is interested in representing the PEOPLE of the 69th Assembly District, and who do you think is interested in the continuing victimization of the people of the 69th Assembly District and the middle class? Who do you think has already sold their souls to Big Business and out of district interests?
The chloice is clear. Julio Perez
Riddle me this: who’s the Democrat and who are the de facto Republicans?
I think you can lump both Daly and Perez into the sellout crowd.
Maybe Barrgan wasn’t such a bad canidate after all.
If you think the CTA is any more interested in the middle class than is Wells Fargo, you are WRONG!

Chris,
Thank You for listing all of the links for endorsements. Hopefully this service will help voters to vote the opposite way to help improve California. After over 30 years of Democratic control, we certainly know what caused all the problems in the nations worst run state.
