Dignity PAC has dropped the following hit piece on Michele Martinez, running for State Assembly in the 69th District. The mailer points out her shifting and conflicting influences, raising the question; Who’s going to succeed in buying her vote if she’s elected?

Ouch! This is the first negative mail from Julio’s IE that doesn’t target both Tom and Michele, it means they know who they need to beat for second place.
And it’s interesting that this is dropping now. I guess Julio’s supporters sense it’s still close enough that election day votes matter. We’ll have to wait and see how all this shakes out on Tuesday.

With 20/25 percent of voters expect to vote (in the 69th) and 157,578 total voters in the 69th.
157,578 * 20% – 11,323 = vote left to collect on Tuesday 20,192.

This is already looking to be a record low turnout election in a historically low turnout district, despite the actions of all of the competitive campaigns. The Presidential race is decided and the initiatives aren’t exciting, I don’t think the turnout will top 20%.
Michelle will sell herself to the highest bidder, we all know that.

You’re both right, the high bidders are sitting pretty with either Daly or Michele. Thus, the occasional double-endorsement of both.
Julio, on the other hand, is the most dangerous politician in California. (To the people who want to rip us off and mess up our planet.)

I agree that Julio Perez is the most dangerous politician in California.
He is clearly in the pocket of organized labor, including public employee unions who hold the keys to our financial house.
How could ever expect a guy like that o stand up to the CRUSHING pressure the groups put forth? Everyone complains about the unions strength in California, well, NEWSFLASH- If over the past thirty years (especially 1990’s and early 2000) we had elected better representitives that could actually negociate with labor, we’d in a much better position financially.
Besides, the last thing we need is another Assemblymember in training.
(1) All candidates are “assemblymembers in Training”, as none have been members of the assembly before. Daly, admittedly, is a career politician who has been sucking off the teat of the school districts, then the City of Anaheim, then the County, for 25 years – no real job other than his elected position to pay the bills. But hey, it pays off! He got his wife hired at the State Tax payer teat as Jose Solorio’s chief of staff! So I guess that Daly would not be an assmeblymember in training as his wife can do the job for him! As he admits in his campaign materials, the only important job he ever held was as a janitor while he was attending Harvard! What a schliemiel.
(2) Negotiate does not have a “c”, Baron.
(3) Daly is completely i the pocket of whoever will pay for his campaigns. He puts his kids through private school, so why will he care about the public schools? He has no vested interest in them. If he had faith in his work on education, or Jordan Brandman;s for that reason, why did he put all his kids through private schools? And how can he do that on the income of a acreer elected official with no other job? Is he moonlighting as a Janitor? Nah – how could he miss so much work to have fundraisers over the last 25 years while working as a janitor? Over a million dollars of OUTSIDE OF DISTRICT MONEY has poured in to elect Daly – from OUTSIDE STATES and BIG BUSINESS. Yeah, he represents the little guy.
No wonder you use the moniker “Baron” – You are as out of touch as the aristocracy you pretend to be . . . or mahybe you are part of the OC olitical Aristocracy MACHINERY.
