It’s with a mixture of happiness and sadness that we let our readers know that Todd Gallinger, our lawyer and longtime Irvine activist, has accepted a new position in Washington, DC. Todd has been named the Director of Chapter Development for the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the largest and most widely recognized Islamic Advocacy & Civil Rights Organization.
Todd will be working with the 32 chapters across the country to strengthen and improve their operations and also help establish new offices across the country.
Of course, Todd was our lawyer for our lawsuit against Art Pedroza and the Orange Juice blog, earning from unsavory nicknames from the defendant and his friends. Todd also ran for Irvine City Council on the progressive Great Park Team slate.
We’ll miss Todd, his lovely wife Noor and their son Ali, as well as the great people who worked at Gallinger Law. Anyone who knows Todd knows how devout he is to his faith and how much his family and friends mean to him. While we’re happy about the new challenges that await Todd, we selfishly admit we’ll miss our friend.
But that’s what Facebook is for. Break a leg Todd and be successful!
Art Pedroza is a festering boil on the anus of public discourse and the blogosphere owes Mr Gallinger for the victorious lawsuit against him.
That loser Pedroza suggests Janet Nguyen is routing websites to unsavory places. Isn’t that what you sued him for? He thinks NAMBLA is free speech. Creepy. The Santa Ana City Council is embracing a perv!
Good luck, Todd. Dan, you can call me Mr. Gallinger if it will ease your pain. My last name has been mangledvin worse ways and I used to make a living as a paralegal if that helps.
