Sometimes, a newspaper headline gets accidentially connected to a photo on the page that has nothing to do with the story in question. And this happened in the Washington Post of all places with the headline and photo pairing above.
In light of Chris’s excellent post on the Register’s editorial page criticism of the President for failing to “acknowledge” the Bush administration’s quest to pull out of Iraq or get Osama Bin Laden (when they did neither), it would be a shame not to share this image with Orange County. What can I say? Sometimes the copy desk misses the obvious, like they did in the Register’s editorial.
They should print this again on Wednesday morning when Romney takes Florida.
It’s photoshopped: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/arts-post/post/obama-laughs-at-romney-vs-gingrich-super-bowl-in-the-new-yorker/2012/01/30/gIQAa2PrcQ_blog.html
wow that is an exceptional photoshop and even the Detroit News thought it was real. Like the New Yorker cover too
Who cares if it’s Photoshopped? It’s funnier than all get out… and I sense it’s close to the real truth as well. Obama has real reason to laugh at the entire Republican field this year.
