Birthday Wishes to Irvine’s Beth Krom

The LiberalOC would like to extend warm birthday wishes for Irvine City Council member Beth Krom.  I met Beth about 10 years ago when she was in her first term as a city council member when she came to speak to my cub scouts about the Great Park.  Like me, Beth is from Upstate New York and has a winter birthday. And there is nothing worse than a kid who gets a new bike for their birthday only to be unable to ride it for four months waiting for the snow to melt.  Beth is a leader in the community and personifies public service.  We wish her the happiest of days and warm wishes for the New Year.

  1. Well cant you just save me the gas and let me know? I havent been tot he great park since 2008. If the only thing they can really claim to have developed is the palm Tree thing then there hasnt been any progress. How much do they spend on that place every month?

    • Henry, just grab one of the Larry Agran taxpayer funded “Shuttle’s to Everywhere” and save yourself the gas. They are tons of them now, cruising around town, for the most part empty, as were those in the Business Complex. The shuttles are the typical Democrat thought process at work, where if something doesn’t work, they do more of it. One day the Irvine taxpayers will wake up and realize they have been taken to the cleaners by the Agranistas whose only goal is to keep their power. Adding insult to injury, then there is the two hundred million dollars spent at the Great Park and not only is it not Great, it isn’t even good. There is no park, except for a small area about the size of a local community park. Not much bang for the buck? Well, let me rephrase that, it isn’t good for taxpayers. It has been very good for Agranista political allies. Forde and Moolrich former Agran political advisers now publicity gurus, have pocketed millions in “no bid” advertising contracts. Larry takes care of his own. Just another day in Paradise.

  2. Ltpar, how much is spent at the great park every month and what is the result or product delivery for that monthly expense?
