I’ve always said if you can’t write, a blank sheet of paper is a signed confession. Yesterday, a new ad from GOP presidential hopeful Governor Rick Perry debuted to the ire of YouTube. Let’s change the title of Rick Perry from GOP Presidential hopeful to GOP Presidential homophobe. As of 2:15 PM today, the ad had this score on YouTube: 210 likes, 246,258 dislikes.
Here’s the text of the ad for those who don’t want to watch the video link.
“I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a Christian, but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school. As President, I’ll end Obama’s war on religion. And I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage. Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again. I’m Rick Perry and I approve this message.”
And our witty friends on Facebook note that the jacket the Governor is wearing has already been on the Big Screen — in Ang Lee’s gay cowboy love story “Brokeback Mountain.”
As for me, I was unaware President Obama had declared war on religion. Rick Perry is obviously losing his battle against stupidity.

You know there’s some serious shit going on if you managed to quote the founding fathers and Teddy Roosevelt in a pro conservative article.
I’m surprised they couldn’t get something from Reagan.
