HUNTINGTON BEACH — Coast Community College Board Trustee Lorraine Prinsky kicked off her campaign for re-election on Sunday with a bang. About 75 supporters crowded into her home where husband Jerry Goldfein’s ceramic creations were given as gifts to all donors present.
Among those attending were Assemblyman Jose Solorio, Huntington Beach Council Member Connie Boardman and fellow Coast Community College Trustees Jerry Patterson and Jim Moreno. California LULAC President Benny Diaz, Orange County Foundation of Orange County Chair Dan Jacobson, and MANA de Orange County President Patricia Sullivan were also in attendance.
Many faculty and staff members from Orange Coast Community, Goldenwest and Coastline Colleges were there to support the career educator who has brought a new era of transparency and accountability to the Coast District.
