On Tuesday, the Orange County Board of Supervisors established an ad hoc committee to review and correct the findings made by the Performance Auditor in his report on the County Human Resources Department. The committee members will be Supervisor’s Bates, Nelson, CEO Tom Mauk, Human Resources Director Carl Crown, and Performance Auditor Steve Danley.
The Orange County Register reports that the sale of the Orange County Fairgrounds to a private company is dead, unless the state Supreme Court resurrects the deal.
Irvine’s Todd Larsen passed away last fall. He taught my son guitar for a few years and we enjoyed getting to know him and his family as Todd showed patience and gave praise during hours of lessons. It seems that in the past week, the Los Angeles Times has finally rediscovered Orange County.
