Anaheim gets duped by a battery powered bunny.

Last year, former Mayor Curt Pringle touted the city’s partnership with a company he said would revolutionize the power industry. What Pringle apparently didn’t know was that Anaheim was partnering with an alleged con artist.

One Broadway Plaza Court Challenge

Voice of OCJudge Noncommittal on Timing of One Broadway Ruling:

More arguments were heard last week in a Santa Ana courtroom in the One Broadway Plaza case, but Superior Court Judge Derek Hunt remained noncommittal as to when he’ll issue a ruling in the lawsuit over the building of what would be the tallest tower in Orange County.

A Bubbling CauldronCosta Mesa Credit Rating Downgraded:

Late in the day Friday, the 13th (appropriate?), the City distributed another press release. This one had the “happy” title, “Moody’s downgrades City of Costa Mesa’s ratings, citing volatile sales tax revenue and low reserves” – Whew! You can read the press release HERE, including the report from Moody’s explaining the reason for the downgrade.
