Scenes from The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Candidate’s Forum

Assembly candidate Judy Jones and Congressional candidate Beth Krom

Bistango’s in Irvine was the spot where candidates for office gathered for a meet and greet with members of the OC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

While a number of candidates were there including Beth Krom, Ceci Iglesias, Van Tran, Melissa Fox and Harry Sidhu, to name a few, I was surprised that not a single candidate for Santa Ana city council or school board could make it.

Enjoy these photos from the event.

  1. Interesting. The reason I was not there is because I did not receive an invitation nor even knew about the event. I wonder if that is the reason why other Santa Ana candidates were not there either.

  2. Charles —
They issued an open invitation to candidates and the event itself was well publicized.

Given that this group consists of Hispanic business leaders, this was a very bi-partisan affair with Republicans and Democrats attending.

The biggest mystery to me is why have it in Irvine instead of Santa Ana or Anaheim.
