Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Puildo to speak at OCYD Meeting Thursday

Join the Orange County Young Democrats on Thursday May 13th for their monthly meeting. Their special guest will be Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido. Mayor Pulido is expected to discuss what is happening in the City of Santa Ana, his reelection campaign, the unique and active role Young Democrats can play in Orange County Politics, and the importance of their involvement this election season.

Since he was first elected to the Santa Ana City Council in 1986, Mayor Miguel Pulido has been a major force in the renaissance and economic revitalization of the City. He is currently serving his sixth term as Mayor and has proven to be a leader, not only within the community, but regionally and nationally.

OCYD will also have a few important announcements of upcoming events and opportunities.

  1. proven leader? get real pulido is a sham. the sooner the tiny dark lord leaves politics the better off we’ll all be in santa ana. and what does this say about the OCYD?

  2. With 16 years as mayor, our city should look more like Tustin, Orange or even Anaheim. Instead, it more closely resembles Tijuana. Because of the many efforts of the good citizens of Santa Ana we have survived Miguel Pulidos reign. With the exception of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs I don’t know of anyone with the arrogance to believe that after 16 years they still have all the best ideas. New leadership brings fresh ideas. It’s time for change.
