Our Public School System is under attack, not just in Florida or San Diego but in Orange County as well. There are experiments happening all over the US to test exactly what the best means would be to destroy our public schools and right now, the easiest seems to be from the inside out.
Particular humorous is Dr. Steven Choi, as thin-skinned a Republican as they come, using a reference we gave him on this blog as “Dr. No” to hype his credentials for an assembly seat. How’s that new apartment in Woodbridge coming Dr. No? Any furniture in there that didn’t come from Costco?
In 2009, Ken Calvert spent $352,433.07 of your taxpayer dollars on mail from his Washington office. That places him 9th out of 435 members of Congress for highest amount of taxpayer dollars spent on Congressional mail, phone calls, voicemails, and emails.

Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-47) today announced that she is asking the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to investigate the U.S. Marine Corps’ primary food services vendor for excessive waste and possible food safety concerns. Sodexo, which is currently nearing the end of its eight-year, $881 million contract with the Marine Corps, has been under scrutiny following multiple reports of food safety non-compliance and a drastic, mid-contract change to its food operations.
