Launched on September 14th, the OCNewsChannel.com hopes to deliver news to the Orange County region that better meets the needs of its residents. From there opening post:

Troy Witt and Jennie O’Hagan have been working in the news, video production and public relations industries for almost two decades. Both live and work in Orange County and have been frustrated by the lack of hyperlocal coverage this county needs! By blending traditional and new media coverage into one place and, by providing additional video news pieces, we hope OCNewsChannel.com will provide a news source worth standing behind.

Yesterday OCNewsChannel.com asked Deans Erwin Chemerinsky and John Eastman to share their thoughts about the US Supreme Court’s case, Citizens United v. FEC, “whether federal campaign finance laws apply to a critical film about Senator Hillary Clinton intended to be shown in theaters and on-demand to cable subscribers. After hearing argument, the Court ordered re-argument, to focus on the constitutionality of limiting corporations’ independent spending during campaigns for the Presidency and Congress.” (Source: SCOTUS WIKI)
