Boxer and Carville in the Big Easy

Send our friend Chuck DeVore a message by contributing to Senator Barbara Boxer’s campaign.

Dear Friend,

I’ve known Barbara Boxer for a long time. She’s one of my favorite Democrats: Somebody who proudly tells you where she stands and what she believes in.

In Louisiana, we call that showing some spine — and that goes a long ways down here. Barbara doesn’t back down, and she’s not afraid to stand on her own sometimes, even when it’s not very popular.

But you and I know that makes her a target. And with the right-wing looking for a big victory in 2010 to try and stem the Democratic tide, there’s nobody they’d want to defeat more than Barbara Boxer.

We can’t let that happen.

Click here to contribute $25 or more to Barbara’s campaign before June 5th — and you’ll automatically be entered in a contest to join Barbara and me at my home in New Orleans on June 12th!

On June 12th, I’m hosting an event at my home here in New Orleans to honor Barbara Boxer and help raise money for her 2010 re-election campaign.

And I want you to meet Barbara, some of my friends, and me for this wonderful event. Call it a taste of some good, old-fashioned Southern hospitality.

So today we’re launching an online contest to select one lucky winner and a guest to join Barbara and me in New Orleans. The Boxer campaign will even cover your airfare and hotel accommodations too.

It’s a win-win-win proposition — for you, for Barbara Boxer, and for me. I hope you’ll take a shot, right now.Click here to contribute $25 or more to Barbara’s campaign today — and you’ll automatically be entered in a contest to join Barbara and me at my home in New Orleans next Friday!

To keep moving President Obama’s agenda forward and get America back on the right track, we’re going to need to hold onto all 60 Democratic votes in the U.S. Senate (including our newest soon-to-be-seated Senator, Al Franken).

That means we can’t afford to lose a single Democratic Senator in 2010 — not one. And especially not Barbara Boxer.

We know Barbara’s going to be a top target in 2010, because she’s not afraid to show some spine and stand up to the special interests.

We’ve got to be there for Barbara Boxer now, because she’s there for us every day in the U.S. Senate.

So let’s do our part: Contribute to Barbara’s campaign today!>

See you in New Orleans!

Sincerely,

James Carville

P.S. Our online contest is only open through this Friday, June 5th at midnight — so be sure to act now. Click here to contribute $25 or more to Barbara’s campaign today — and you’ll automatically be entered in our online contest to join Barbara and me at an event in New Orleans next month!
