Please join OCEC in welcoming OC native and OCEC member Lt. Dan Choi as our special guest speaker. Lt. Choi has been making headlines as he fights against DADT and for his job and those of other lesbians and gays in the military. When you meet Lt. Choi and hear him speak you will know immediately why the entire nation is embracing him and this cause: the repeal of DADT and equal rights for all. Aaron Belkin of the Huffington Post fittingly said “I spent a day with Dan Choi last month, and he is not someone we want to fire from the military.” I will add that I have gotten to know Dan Choi and he also someone you would want to bring home to your mom!

More after the jump:

After OCEC held a protest in his honor last week, Lt. Choi wrote that “I plan to stay very much involved with my hometown.” We hope his hometown will come out on May 30, to demonstrate our support for this brave American hero.
