Saddlebacking is the New Santorum

Columnist Dan Savage, who pens the very funny “Savage Love” column that can be read locally in the OC Weekly, is more than a sex advice columnist.  He’s a political activist and frequents Bill Mahers “Real Time” program on a regular basis. A few years ago, in response to former PA-senator Rick Santorum’s comments about gay marriage/gay sex leading to some man-on-dog action, Savage was able to coin a new definition for “Santorum,” and this definition is still the number one item on Google when you simply type in the former Senator’s last name only.

This week’s Savage Love column deals with respectful ways for gay Americans to protest Pastor Rick Warren’s upcoming inaugural invocation.  So Savage has been fielding new definitions for the term “Saddlebacking” that can be read here.

Now I realize that some of the more conservative among us might find Savagew’s column in bad taste.  My response is pretty simple: Have you read any of Ann Coulter’s new book lately?
