Like This Could Happen

In today’s LA Times, there’s an article about Jeb Bush. You know him, he’s the popular former governor of Florida and son of 41.  He’s the son who got upstaged by the ne’er-do-well younger brother. Anyway, he gives some indication of why he decided (for the time being) not to run for office (making money).

He does seem much smarter and better spoken than his brother. Mostly though, it’s a pretty bland article. One quote jumped out.

“The opposition should be about ideas, and not what my brother suffered through in the last eight years,” he said. “I don’t wish that on President Obama.”

Right. With Mitch McConnell and John Boehner (and no heavyweight RNC chair) leading the charge?

Fat chance of that happening.
