Don’t Forget to Take Charge of YOUR Democratic Party!

cdp-massthead

In case you haven’t heard, the California Democratic Party Delegate Selection Caucuses will occur on the weekend of January 10-11, 2009. So if one of your New Year’s Resolutions will be to get more involved, here’s a good start to fulfilling that. The CDP has a full list of meetings for each Assembly District, including all the OC districts.

If you happen to live in the 69th District, I hope you vote to reelect me. Honestly, I was wondering whether I even wanted to serve another term. But after some long thought, I decided I needed to do it.

Why? I want to see a sane budget passed out of Sacramento. I want to see an end to H8 next year or 2010 so that I & all my fellow LGBT friends can have our full civil rights. I want to see more & better Democrats elected to Congress from California, and I don’t want to see a repeat of the many disappointments of 2006 & 2008.

So if you agree with me & you’re in the 69th Assembly District (Santa Ana, parts of Anaheim & Garden Grove), please vote for me on Saturday, 01/10/09, at 10:00 AM at the Rancho Santiago Community College District Headquarters (Broadway & Santa Clara, near Main & the 5 Freeway) in Santa Ana. If not, follow the above link to find your local caucus. Have fun & go do your civic duty! 😀

  1. I just read the list of candidates. Andrew, can you tell me why Paul Lucas has renamed himself, John Lucas? Does he think we are too stupid to figure they are one in the same?

  2. Question,
I just saw that today as well. My first name is John. My guess is that the form automatically used my first name instead of my always emphasized middle name when ever I fill these type of things out. Your stupidity is not a concern of mine.
