Want to Overturn H8? Find Out How This Saturday!

Last month, civil rights advocates all over California, and the nation, were horrified & depressed by the passage of Proposition 8, the marriage equality ban. However, there has been some good news since Election Day. The California Supreme Court has agreed to the legal challenge of Prop 8, due to the legally questionable way it was placed on the ballot as well as its ramifications for equal protection for all minority groups. Meanwhile, a new generation of activists has begun a movement to undo the damage done last month & secure equal rights for all sooner rather than later. This last month has been exciting, even here in OC as the new OC Equality Coalition (OCEC) has begun working.

If you’d like to see what’s happening and how you can be directly involved in the fight for equality, please read the important message below & feel free to come to Fullerton Saturday to see what you want to do to end H8.

Our next meeting for OCEC’s Activism Committee is
Saturday, December 6th, at 3:00 PM.
