Join a Candlelight Vigil to Repeal H8 Tomorrow Night

I just spotted this at the always great DFA-OC Weekly Progressive Calendar, and I wanted to share it with all of you. We have a great opportunity now to keep up the momentum of the last two weeks in peacefully protesting the “legal?” discrimination that is Prop H8. The state supreme court is hearing the case & the voters are already starting to wonder if passing 8 was a mistake.

So please, let’s keep up the good work by going to Orange tomorrow night and making our voices heard!

Nov 22, Saturday, 6-9pm, Orange: Candlelight Vigil to Repeal Prop 8

Prop 8 is now being contested in the state supreme court for its legality. Please join us to show California that this proposition is a grave breach of civil rights and should not be allowed to stand. We are going to gather in the Orange Circle with candles and signs in a peaceful show of support. Please bring everyone you know: family, friends, church groups, student clubs, bands. Please, let’s keep this positive!! Signs should be about what we are fighting for equality, civil rights, love… No targeting of any groups, please! 🙂
